It’s very well know that having a TV in your living room can disturb convivence, but it can also bring the family together. Today, we are showing you how to keep your TV space friendly and oriented to a convivence in the family, so you can be together instead of apart in the living room.

Choose the furniture
The main issue when it comes to deciding where to put your TV is the lack of a proper space to actually put it in. Some people end up putting the TV on the floor instead of an actual cabinet or at least a setting to set the TV in a higher place.
When it comes to the height of your TV, always try to get it as high as you would be standing up. Too high can cause neck pain, to low is bad for your eyes. Plus, at shoulder high you can have access to the buttons in your tv, and the cabeling, wich if you have a gaming setup, can be very beneficial.

The Television is not the purpose of the living room!
Many people that have a TV in their living room find it hard to establish conversations in it. Visitors might feel a certain preassure to turn on the TV when the conversation dies out, and it is certainly not very good to have a TV around little children in family gatherings.
Try instead of designing a living room space that contains the TV, but not as the center of attention, find other elements that could potencially attract more than it, if possible keep it on a closed cabinet.
If you have a console, displaying the console along side the TV can be beneficial, since it can be a common activity to entertain your guest or family with.

Keep it accesible
However, your Television can also be a bridge with other people, and a source of lot’s of activities, such as watching movies, TV shows, games, videogames, etc.
Desing your living room with what you want to make out of it. If you want a place to gather and watch TV, make it accesible and organize it, so you have access to the TV Remote and can get easily cozy in the couch. If perhaps you want to spend mor time talking, keep it in a cabinet, closed and hidden. If you want to play videogames often, show off your console, and make sure you manage the cabeling, and keep all controls accesible and with proper charge.
